Based on a poem by an Australian poet A. B. "Banjo" Paterson the writer of the famous, 'Man from the Snowy River.' The story begins with an Old man telling his grand daughters a late night tale. As the tale unfolds, the Stockman drives his horse too hard causing the animal to go lame in the foot. This strands them in the dark and spooky ghost gum forest. Forced to camp in a clearing near an old bark hut which also happens to be the scene of a recent murder. A storm blows in overhead, a storm so bad that it forces the young stockman inside. Faced with the gruesome scene and the sounds of the violent storm his imagination gets the better him. It’s then “The Ghost of the Murderers Hut” appears at the window...
